What you’ll be doing:
We’ve got an ambitious and bold strategy for the future of our business, which has Engineering at its heart. You’ll be the trusted right-hand to our Head of Engineering, managing our engineering projects from inception through to delivery ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget. You’ll manage risks and communicate progress to the business along the way.
How you’ll do it:
You’ll work with the Head of Engineering to take high level project plans and turn them into comprehensive project plans, plotting out the stages, timelines, budgets, and milestones required by a multi-disciplined engineering team. You’ll use appropriate project management tools to assist with planning, such as Gantt charts. You’ll manage the engineering projects on a day-to-day basis ensuring the project team are on schedule to deliver the project to the correct time scales and agreed budget. You’ll be clear in your communication with the Engineering team, detailing what you need and by when. You’ll use visual aids and tools so everyone can see their progress and highlight any risks to the project delivery. You’ll help identify any roadblocks or risks to the project delivery or budget, finding ways to remove the blocks and/or communicating the risks to the Head of Engineering. You’ll triage issues raised within our engineering ticketing system and assign work to the appropriate people. You’ll collate information from each of the engineering disciplines to compile accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensure they are maintained. You’ll create, maintain and communicate regular reports on the Engineering team’s performance to the Engineering management team as well as the wider business. You’ll provide general support to the Engineering management team when needed.Who you are:

You’ve got proven experience of managing multiple and simultaneous projects in an engineering environment. You’ve got a good understanding of general engineering principles and best practice. You understand how engineering ticketing systems work and the benefits that they bring to a team Knowledge of, or experience creating, BOMsWhat you’ll get here:
