The Audit and AccountsSenior duties willbe:

  • Planning anddelivery of audit/accountsassignments
  • Planassignments in conjunction with the client partner ormanager
  • Lead some of ourlargest and most complexassignments
  • Supervisejunior staff during the audit and review theirwork
  • Deliver the auditfile to the assignment manager or partner in a timelymanner
  • Manage clientcommunication in effectivemanner
  • Monitor yourchargeability and your assignment budgetsproactively
  • Coach otherstaff for improved performance and technicaldevelopment

Experience

  • Experienceof OMB/SME private company audits: planning budget preparationidentifying key risks developing an audit plan executing the auditon site
  • Knowledge of andexperience of current auditing standards and approaches: analyticalreview documenting systems and controls samplingtechniques
  • Significantprior experience of statutory company accounts preparation under UKGAAP and also charities friendly societies solicitors andLLPs
  • IFRS knowledge wouldbe useful but notessential
  • Experience ofpreparing and auditing consolidatedaccounts
  • Leadershipexperience experience supervising teams onsite and reviewing theirwork
  • Experience ofpreparing budgets and monitoring actual time againstbudget

Qualifications

  • ACA/ACCAqualified or QBE
