As our Nurse Endoscopist, you will act as the clinical expert and professional resource to the multi-professional team, patients and carers within you specialist service. Working flexibly, you will have your own lists, performing upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy and polypectomy and administer conscious sedation/local anaesthesia with agreed protocols to patients requiring endoscopy. 

Main duties of the job

You will be an NMC registered Nurse with a specialist qualification in GI nursing/endoscopy practice, ALS and cannulation skills (or willingness to undertake) with:

Experience of working at a senior nurse level.  Excellent communication skills A UKRC Advanced Life Support Provider Qualification Ability to cope in stressful situations. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
