The Person

We are looking for an MEP Design Manager who has experience of working on major schemes of this type. You will be responsible for the pre-con design management and your role will include:- Review tender documentation and identify project risks.

·Assisting the design team through the scheme / production design stage and the delivery

·team through into implementation and handover.

·Demonstrate design management procedures, prepare design programme and set design deliverables.

·Attend/chair design team meetings as necessary during contract.

·Monitor and report on design progress, statutory approvals, outstanding information required, subcontractor design, environmental/CDM issues.

·Ensure compliance with BREEAM.

·Develop and agree design input/output responsibilities between consultants and subcontractors with design responsibilities.

·Monitor progress and status of RFI's and document control.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams.
