Your duties as the Year 1 SEN Class Teacher
As part of your new role, you will be required to:

  • Tailor your lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs. Consider individualised approaches for students with special needs.
  • Provide additional support to SEN students, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and specialists to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Modify teaching materials, assessments, and activities to meet the needs of SEN students
  • Regularly observe and document student progress, noting any specific challenges or achievements.
  • Implement strategies to manage behaviour effectively, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.

    • Evidence of good/outstanding school experience placements/observations
