You must be a serving police officer from a Home Office Force with no current performance or conduct concerns. You must have successfully completed the two year probationary period and the Policing Diploma, or your forces equivalent qualification at the point of application. Hold the appropriate qualifications for your rank.If you are part-way through a promotions process, please note that you must have started your work-based assessment in order to be eligible to apply for a transfer. Applications will not be shortlisted to transfer if this condition has not been met.
Successful applicants will need to;
Satisfy all the relevant eligibility criteria and pre employment checks including, medical screening, vetting and a fitness test.
Be available to attend a 1 week (dependent on your skills transfer) transferee course.
Once you have completed this process and accepted our offer, we will contact your existing force for information including pension, salary, service, training and unpaid leave.
