Education/Qualifications

Essential criteria

Good level of general education(to at least GCSE level or equivalent) NVQ3 in Administration or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria

Advanced keyboard skills required to manage complex on-screen tasks with complete accuracy, including internet searching, retrieval & sending emails Has a demonstrable record of recording data and maintaining databases and other sources of information Excellent interpersonal skills Good listening skills Good grammatical skills (both verbal and written) A knowledge of a range of administration skills and practices Previous experience with PAS/ICS or hospital database systems

Desirable criteria

Knowledge of medical terminology Experience of working in NHS Knowledge of GCIS hospital system
