We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join our well-established and highly motivated Palliative Care team in ABUHB with a track record for service development and pioneering education, training and research.

The ABUHB Specialist Palliative Care Team is a peripatetic consultant led service which aligns with the Primary Care and Community Division. The service delivers consult support and advice to patients and families within the hospital setting, medical staffing for the Specialist Palliative Care inpatient unit in St David's Hospice Care and consultant led support for Palliative Care community teams across Gwent and South Powys in collaboration with third sector.

The post holder would be responsible for the effective and appropriate medical care of patients across the directorate, primarily supporting the MDT teams at The Grange University Hospital and The Royal Gwent Hospital.
