Job Details Sessional Drug and Alcohol Worker - Bank Staff
Location: North Park Road - Harrogate HG1 5PD
Please note this is a 0 Hour contract however there is capacity for full time hours on an ongoing basis.

North Yorkshire Horizons is a service made up of several key partners including Humankind, enabling the development of a peer led, recovery community. Providing a safe environment in which people can develop the life skills, and confidence to achieve and maintain recovery and abstinence from their substance misuse, successfully re-integrate into society, and become active, contributing citizens.
The Role and Person:
As directed by the Project Manager, the Sessional Drug & Alcohol worker will be an integral member of the dynamic multi agency team developing and delivering comprehensive and tailored individual interventions that will include delivery of a full range of structured, psychosocial and clinical support. The post calls for close co-operation with other professionals such as GPs, practice nurses and pharmacists and will involve delivering clinics from host environments/GP practices. In order to be successful in this position ideally you will have:
- Experienced in case management.
- Fully literate with Microsoft Packages
- Experience within the Drug and Alcohol sector is desirable but not essential.
- Hold the same values as humankind and have a passion for the work you do.
