We are looking for a personable and conscientious chef to join our team as our Grill Chef. The grill and our meats are at the heart of what we do. Our team of passador/a's serve and carve the finest selection of meats directly at our guests’ tables, with all the tradition behind the unique Brazilian way of serving. As the Grill Chef you will be cooking the meat, ensuring they are prepared and cooked to the highest standards at all times.

About the role of Grill Chef
As a rodizio restaurant, the role of the grill and kitchen teams differs from the traditional setup. Our meats are prepared and cooked in a separate grill section by the grill team using two different grills; a chargrill and a traditional rodizio grill, similar to a rotisserie, where our skewered meats are cooked. The kitchen team then take responsibility for creating cold dishes for the self-service Market Table, as well as hot side dishes, desserts and vegetarian options for our guests.
As such, the ideal Grill Chef will possess:
- Extensive meat cooking experience in a kitchen environment
- A passion for preparing, cooking high quality meats
- A high level of product and food hygiene knowledge
- A clean-as-you-go approach and natural concern for cleanliness and hygiene
- A strong understanding of and belief in teamwork
- An understanding of the importance of stock control
- Confidence in communicating with the team and with senior management, receiving instructions courteously and delegating appropriately
