Central Alliance, a member of the RSK Group, have a new opportunity for an experienced Lead Driller (Window Sampling) to join their growing team based in Wakefield, UK. Working on site across the UK.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Acting as a Lead Driller primarily for Window sampling although there may be a requirement to undertake concrete coring.
- Undertake duties of a lead driller as dictated by workload.
- Weekend working and midweek nightshift working on railway sites will be required from time to time.
- Oversee department plant, equipment and tools including repairs and maintenance as required.
- Adhere to best working practice and industry standards.
- Adhere to working instructions as specified internally and from external clients.
- Provide paperwork, namely driller’s daily logs the morning following completion of each shift.
- Communicate with internal and external parties.
- Provide weekly timesheets in order to satisfy management system requirements.
Essential Professional/Technical Skills & Qualifications:
- Maintain NVQ Level 2 Land Drilling for rotary drilling.
- Experience in compliance with CDM regulations and production of H&S documentation.
- The post holder will be expected to attend and pass internal and industry recognised external training courses. These may include but not be limited to, PTS, NRASWA, CCNSG, CSCS, towing license, CAT, First Aid and manual handling training.
- Maintenance of ground investigation plant, equipment and tools.
- UK Driving License
