Job summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced and committed individual to join our Integrated Commissioning Team, working across our partnerships to shape and deliver our ambitious Learning Disability programme.

The role will be responsible for leading on the areas of Co-production, Health outcomes and Transforming Care, and will also support several housing and residential placement projects. A commitment to co-production and experience of commissioning, strategy or project delivery in health and social care is essential.

Main duties of the job

To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated and organised, with strong leadership skills and understanding of learning disabilities services including secondary and primary health care and social care and supported housing for adults with learning disabilities. You will be able to manage your time and able to work flexibly in a pressurised environment, demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, health and social care professionals, patients' family members and others.

Education / Qualifications

Essential

oEducated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area oPost-graduate degree or equivalent

Experience

oSignificant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment oExperience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments oExperience of managing risks and reporting oEvidence of planning and delivering programmes, projects and services on time

Desirable

oEvidence of continued professional development Member of relevant professional body oExperience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence oExperience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes

Knowledge

Essential
