Tooling Coordinator - Engineering, based at Leeds Bradford Airport.

What will you do in the role?

Reporting to the Senior Tooling Supervisor, the Tooling Coordinator will play a vital part in our Tooling Support team. This role calls for excellent communication, first-class data analysis and strong administrative skills. These are all aimed at supporting the Tooling Team to achieve its mission statement, ‘Right Tool, Right Place, Right Time’.

What will you be doing in the role?
  • Providing statistical analysis and assistance to the Tooling Leadership Team, in relation to projects and budget support
  • Be required to liaise with internal and external departments
  • To maintain a record of all training, passes and authorisations for Tooling staff and organise training or renewal in conjunction with the Tooling Management
  • Review and assist with updating Vendor scorecards
  • Actively liaise with training department on tooling training requirements, booking courses, updating colleagues ELMS accounts
  • Provide inductions for new starters
  • Update and maintain accurate records of the tooling in relation to holiday, overtime, sickness, and stock check analysis
  • Provide analysis on Tooling practices e.g. provide analysis on tech assists, shelf expiry.
  • Monitor responses to submitted Technical Assist requests, update these requests as required or close when complete
  • Book medicals for the relevant team members and track when these are necessary
  • Looking after the booking of servicing and upkeep of the tooling departments Vehicles
  • Roster overview
  • Note taking and assisting with Human Resource Matters
  • Ensuring the tooling department have adequate consumables supplies

What are the Key Skills / Experience you will already have?
  • Strong I.T skills, including MS office
  • Good knowledge of Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills, accompanied with sound General administration skills
  • The ability to work with both internal stakeholders and external organisations
  • To be adaptable and proactive, in problem solving and coming up with solutions
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset
  • Enable to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
