Looking for anexperienced SAS Developer to analyze large datasets. Experiencewith SAS Programming
Data Mining / ETL experience SQLexperience. Knowledge of .net C# OOA and project management ishelpful.

JobResponsibilities
Provide daytoday operation ofthe SAS platform and provide project support to researchers andanalysts to use the SAS data analytics capabilities. Can alsodevelop code in SQL.
Analyze highly complex businessrequirements; generate technical specifications to design orredesign complex software components and applications
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling simulation andanalysis efforts
Develop solutions including completeprojects proof of concepts or code snippets asappropriate.
Effectively work with business analystsdevelopment leads researchers and technical staff to analyzebusiness requirements and provide guidance on using appropriate SAStools and SAS coding techniques including statistical methodologiesdata manipulation and predictive modeling methodologies.
Respond to complex data requests that require data miningextraction and query optimization services.
Reviewexisting SAS code and use a mapping document to rewrite the code topoint to the new database.
Provide guidance toresearchers and developers in use of SAS tools andmethodologies.
Provide guidance to users in use of SASclients and clients associated with the products installed on theMedicaid Data Warehouse platform.
Work with users tounderstand and define project security data and operationalrequirements.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in atechnical field such as computer science computer engineering orrelated field required.
Development experience in SASSQL UNIX
Experience in SAS/MACROS SAS/SQL
Experience working with SAS Visual Analytics and SAS BusinessIntelligence
Develop shell scripts to dynamically updatethe SAS jobs and validate the job results
Knowledge ofMicrosoft BI
Hands on experience in designing developingand successful deployment of largescale projects fromendtoend
Create functional design documents requirementsdocuments user documentation technical documentation researchpapers and any other documentation as required by theproject.
Provide knowledge transfer toothers.
Provide development of solutions including datadevelopment predictive/descriptive statistical solutions andguidance
Provide technical support to researchers in useof SAS products implemented on the Microsoft Platform
