Main duties of the job

To work unsupervised as a health visitor with caseload responsibility to influence the health and wellbeing of children and families to improve the life chances and give every child the Best Start in Life To be responsible for leading the universal national Healthy Child Programme through home visiting, clinics and multiagency settings Family Hubs To work with a wide range of partner agencies to support children and families in need, looked after children and children where there are child protection concerns To be the Lead Professional for assessment, early identification and care planning for vulnerable families, children with additional needs and the implementation of targeted specialist programmes of care Early Help Plans, postnatal depression and Solihull behaviour management Work in collaboration with local statutory, voluntary and mainstream services to ensure that children and families can access other health and support services To be responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care
