Job Description

Role Overview

We are recruiting a Sales Engineer to join our dynamic technical sales team. Help us sell our cutting-edge driving simulation products in a rapidly expanding and exciting market. Our products are used by the best motorsport teams, automotive manufacturers and suppliers around the world. We hire the best talent to deliver an outstanding service. Working within the Solutions group, the Sales Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver quotations, proposals and technical responses to suit the needs of our customers.

What will you be doing?

  • Identifying new business and support opportunities with prospective and existing customers and converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with designated customers.
  • Working with our suppliers, engineering team, and operations team to configure our products and support packages to the exact requirements of each opportunity.
  • Planning, preparing and delivering quotations and technical proposals, and communicating them to customers.
  • Supporting the company in meeting its targets for growth and profitability.

What are we looking for?

  • Ability to produce accurate proposals that meet complex customer needs under time constraints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong negotiation skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with sales colleagues and other stakeholders to produce the best possible results for the company and our customers
  • Analytical thought process and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems
  • System sales experience, ideally in automotive, audio-visual, simulation, robotics, scientific equipment or industrial test systems.
  • Experience of providing detailed technical documents as part of the sales process.
