This post provides a unique opportunity to join the Pharmacy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and provides an excellent opportunity to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to become a fully qualified Pharmacy Technician.

Pre-registration Pharmacy Technicians are essential to the continuing development of the Pharmacy team, and applications are invited from enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated people with good written and verbal communication skills. Previous pharmacy or customer service experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a two year fixed term apprenticeship which includes working in the Hospital Pharmacy and day release (online remote learning) at college leading to a Level 3 qualification. (Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians). This is a nationally recognised qualification, which on completion will allow you to register as a Pharmacy Technician with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). 

You will be placed on a Band 2 salary for Year 1 (£, per annum pro rata) and then move to a Band 3 salary for Year 2 (£, per annum pro rata).

Apprenticeship will commence on 9th September 4.

Working hours per week. Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working.
