Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant? Do you have a passion to work in education? Then we have a rewarding role for you

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs in an all-through SEN school. Classes range from 6-12 children to ensure every child gets the best out of their education and provide equal opportunities.

  • Full-time position (Mon-Fri 8:30am-15:30pm)
  • All-through SEN based school
  • Range of needs- personal care will be required

The role:

  • To support teaching and learning and address the personal needs of pupils, many of which have complex medical needs
  • Flexible, adaptable and a good communicator
  • Promote children's physical, social and emotional welfare
  • Knowledge of positive handling and safeguarding procedures 

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
  • Minimum of three months UK residency

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
