Housing Coordinator (Lettings)

We’re looking for a  Housing Coordinator (Lettings)  to join our  Allocations & Lettings  team in  Peterborough .

About the role and person:

  • 30 hours per week, ideally Monday - Friday but we can be flexible for the right person
  • Permanent

Always motivated to achieve brilliant standards of service, our Housing Coordinators (Lettings) are responsible for effectively marketing our empty homes in a fair and transparent way and ensuring the successful on-boarding of new customers. You’ll maintain a good working knowledge of Accent’s property portfolio and local area insights so that you can advertise properties through the best channels. Moving into your new home should be an exciting experience so you’ll work closely with our customers, providing support with the application process, keeping them up to date with their progress and ensuring they feel fully informed throughout their journey.

What skills/behaviours do you need to be a Housing Coordinator (Lettings)?

  • Excellent administration, record keeping and data entry experience.
  • Understanding of GDPR as you’ll be working with sensitive customer data.
  • “Live & Breathe” great customer centric behaviours, putting our customers at the heart of everything you do and empathise when things aren’t going to plan.
  • You’ll be driven to get positive outcomes, understanding the impact on our customers.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy and intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office applications as well as the ability to use specific business software. 
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise.
  • An eye for detail and accuracy to ensure first time resolution.
  • Ability to work at pace and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management to liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and have difficult conversations about timeframes.

Location

The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to our  Peterborough  office as this post requires you to be on-site at least 2 days a week. Travel to other offices will be required once a quarter.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £26,250 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
