Static Respiratory Physiotherapist Band 6 - hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the acute respiratory physiotherapy team as a static band 6 staff member. The team works hard to provide a very high standard of assessment and treatment to patients that have a respiratory diagnosis in multiple environments including ITU, A&E, AMU and respiratory wards. The team encourages learning and development and multiple staff members have enhanced skills.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients in the specialist areas of respiratory medicine, acute respiratory care, ITU and surgery.
Be an autonomous practitioner being professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of their professional and clinical work.
Participate in the Respiratory Emergency On-call Rota. Car driver / owner essential.
They will assess, diagnose, plan and deliver treatment and/or management programmes to patients in their care.

Broad clinical experience as a band 5/ band 6 demonstrating Knowledge in Out Patients, Medicine, Respiratory, Elderly Rehabilitation, Neurological and Critical Care. Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team and multidisciplinary team. Student or Physiotherapy Assistant supervision
