What would you be doing?

In its simplest and most explicit form, industrial safety can be a matter of life or death. As an ASME Supervisor for BES Group, you will be helping to make Britain a safer place for industry, businesses and for people whenever and wherever, by being a technical expert, specialising in ASME Inspections.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Performing the duties of an Authorised Inspector Maintaining a record of Certificate Holders’ shop and field sites Maintaining a record of Authorised Inspectors assigned and being supervised and a description of their assignments Provide training and development necessary to maintain the Authorised Inspector’s competency to complete the assigned duties Auditing and documenting the performance of each Authorised Inspector assigned shop or field inspection responsibilities Ensuring each Authorised Inspector maintains an Inspector Diary Recording, in the Inspector Diary, dates of all audits and all visits to shop and field locations when related to Authorised Inspector Supervisory duties Attending each joint review for Certificate Holders for each Authorised Inspector being supervised.

What experience do I need?

Our team consists of the best, highly skilled and qualified Engineers and we want our new recruits to have the same attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do.

You will need:

HNC/D or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline ASME Supervisor qualification Ideally, candidates will be educated to Degree level in Engineering and/or offer Chartered status National Board R endorsement would be desirable Thorough knowledge of the requirements of ASME BPV Code Sections You’ll have a solid understanding of pressure systems and offer substantial experience working on pressure equipment – pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipework, skid packages and associated equipment Have a thorough understanding of the Engineering discipline and an appreciation of the legal and regulatory framework in which operates
