RG consultancy are working with a rapidly expanding company based in Eccles, Our client are looking for a Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop as you will work closely with the management team.
Duties:
- Oversee the complete fortnightly payroll cycle for around 1,500 employees, encompassing data input, computations, and disbursement of employee salaries.
- Guarantee precise and prompt execution of payroll procedures for all staff, covering regular wages, overtime, incentives, and other remunerations.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax documents (P60s and P11Ds), ensuring accuracy and punctuality to prevent penalties.
- Handle any inquiries or concerns regarding payroll from regulatory bodies.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor payroll personnel, offering guidance and assistance as necessary.
- Coordinate task allocation, prioritise assignments, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct performance assessments and furnish feedback to team members.
- Administer benefit schemes like the company's auto-enrolment pension plan, private stakeholder pension schemes, childcare, technology, and cycle schemes.
- Generate the Company's annual Gender Pay Report.
- Assess existing payroll systems, processes, and protocols for continuous enhancement.
- Assist the HR department with miscellaneous duties as required.
The Person:
- Familiarity with payroll software systems to efficiently manage payroll data, process transactions, and generate reports
