Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Tiny Toes Day Nursery

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Tiny Toes Nursery setting as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

Tiny Toes Day Nursery is an established childcare service provider in Lordshill, Southampton. Tiny Toes first opened its doors in Southampton in 2016 by Neil and Sasha Lewis, who decided to do things a bit differently by creating a space which fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from 3 months to 5 years can explore the world around them.

Tiny Toes are passionate about offering high-quality, accessible early years education to every child and setting them up for a lifetime of success.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

Caring for children making sure all their needs are met. Helping with planning Support the key members of the team To learn and understand the basics of what’s involved daily Support inside and out with daily activities Helping with mealtimes Assisting with toileting and personal care Small amount of housekeeping , tidy up at the end of the day Supporting the children’s wellbeing Generally helping with the team and the overall safety and care for the children Abiding by the risk assessment and safeguarding requirements.

Requirements;

Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role  You must be able to gain a clear DBS Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent Experience working with children is desired 

Hours; 

Tiny Toes Nursery is open from 7:00 – 18:30 Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 45 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed
