Flight Operations Technical Systems Tester, based at Leeds Bradford Airport

As the diversity, complexity and scale of the Jet2.com Flight Operations Technical systems and Electronic Flight Bag (eFB) Apple iPad environment continues to grow, we are looking for a Flight Operations Technical Systems Tester who will be responsible for carrying out all necessary functional testing and data testing of the FOT systems and eFB applications and associated hardware.

Reporting to the Flight Operations Systems Manager the Flight Operations Technical Systems Tester this role will include developing and maintaining a robust testing schedule and accompanying test plans that focus on a ‘testing to break’ approach to the testing. The role will also be required to ensure that all completed testing is fully documented, recorded and certified, along with providing regular testing reports to all stakeholders and FOT management and working in conjunction with the relevant departmental SME.
Qualifications/Experience

  • Previous experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role preferable
  • Prior experience of working in aviation industry ideal but not essential
