About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Supply Cover Supervisor to join a reputable secondary school in Basingstoke. This full-time, long-term position is set to commence in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students stay on task with their learning.
- Managing classroom behavior in line with the school's policies.
- Supporting students' educational and social development.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Assisting with any administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
- A recent graduate with a strong academic background.
- Passion for education and working with young people.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude towards challenges.
- Prior experience in a similar role or within a school setting is advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
