Registered Mental Health Nurse

Hourly Rate: £20-£22

Day or Night Shifts

40 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our client's nursing team - This role offers a highly rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents with complex mental health condition and dementia, contributing to their holistic care and overall quality of life.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification and a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Proven experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with individuals with complex mental health conditions and dementia
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with service users and their families
  • The capability to remain calm and responsive in challenging situations, demonstrating empathy and understanding
  • A firm commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the healthcare environment

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized nursing care plans for individuals with complex mental health conditions and dementia
  • Administering medications, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring holistic care to meet the diverse needs of the service users
  • Providing valuable support and education to service users and their families, playing a key role in promoting mental health awareness and overall well-being
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize the quality of care
  • Acting as a strong advocate for the rights and needs of individuals facing mental health challenges, fostering a culture of empowerment and understanding
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care and support to service users
