We currently have an opportunity for a Sales & Account Manager to join our team at SNAP in Norwich working Monday to Friday 35hrs per week

Our Sales and Account Managers are responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of fleets in a specific territory. Sales and Account Managers operate as the first point of contact for potential and existing customers, delivering a first class experience at all points of interaction with SNAP.

Sales and Account Managers foster and develop successful business relationships with our existing customer base, ensuring that SNAP becomes an integral part of their business and are expected to increase SNAP utilisation within our existing customer base whilst also selling SNAP to an expansive portfolio of new customers.

To be successful in this role, you will be a ‘can-do’ team player with excellent customer service, communication and sales skills. You will be results driven and take ownership and accountability for your own success and the success of your fleet portfolio. You will be adept at managing relationships in a controlled and constructive manner with a continual growth-mindset.

Having been acquired by Certas Energy UK Ltd in 2018, SNAP Account is a unique and innovative company who, over the past 14 years, have become the UK and European market leaders for smart payments within the haulage industry. SNAP Account connects the entire road transport industry through modern technology solutions covering security and a complete international network of drivers, fleets, and roadside service providers. There are over 7,000 fleets with 180,000 HGV drivers who use SNAP Account daily when driving across Europe, and we connect them with over 500 service providers of truck parking, refreshments, overnight stays and truck washing facilities as well as road tolls to simplify fleet management whilst driving revenues for our service provider partners. Job responsibilities will include:

  • Grow the portfolio of fleets in your territory through outbound communications, succinctly and clearly selling the benefits of SNAP Account
  • Develop partnerships existing SNAP fleets, upselling additional SNAP services and increasing utilisation of SNAP by identifying fleet requirements and actively meeting their needs
  • Handle account queries in a professional, friendly and timely manner, liasing with other teams in SNAP to ensure that SNAP are delivering excellent customer service
  • Produce succinct weekly reports displaying the weeks performance and progression of pipeline
  • Plan and prioritise sales activities to deliver margin growth by achieving agreed personal and team targets and KPI’s
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Deliver expected margin growth by achieving agreed individual and team targets / KPIs.
  • Understand and adhere to departmental and business financial targets, playing a vital role in their delivery and achievement.
  • Support self and team adherence to targeting and bonus scheme guidelines.

Other skills and experience required:

  • Has quantifiable experience gained in an equivalent role, with experience in the logistics industry being a bonus.
  • Is a fluent and strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in the relevant country with the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form in English
  • Has relevant experience partnering in a high volume, customer focused environment and the ability to advise, guide and influence as needed.
  • Does not fear rejection with the ability to turn objections into positive attributes.
  • The ability to learn, unlearn and relearn in an ever-changing marketplace scenario.
  • Thorough knowledge of the product to engage with conviction and the ability to adapt to the latest business processes to fulfil a wide range of customer / partner needs and expectations.
  • Displays a customer-oriented mindset, focusing on always providing the best solution to the customer and is structured, organised, flexible and adaptable in their approach.
  • Understands the process of team working and the part they play in ensuring objectives are met.
  • Displays a hand’s on ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ approach to all activities undertaken with a positive energy attitude displayed towards every situation.
