An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Support Secretary within the Paediatric Department in the Women's and Children's Clinical Administration Unit at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to come and work in our busy but very friendly tight knit team. The role is 15 hours a week to be worked over 2 days - Thursday and Fridays each week.

Excellent audio typing skills are essential for this role and previous medical terminology knowledge would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given for the right applicant.

Knowledge of Allscripts/PAS/ERS would also be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

You should possess the ability to organise your day and possess good time management skills, prioritising your workload providing support for all o Paediatric Medical Secretaries. Working as part of a team is also required.

You should be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties to support our service as required.

The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 760,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.
