We are looking for aMulti Skilled Cable Operatives to build and maintain new andexisting Fibre Networks specifically cable pulling block cablingsplicing and testing. The role involves carrying out effectiveworks at internal & external locations in line withspecifications SLA s & H&Sruling.

Youmust have excellent communication skills and an eye for detail andable to organise yourself. As the role will be working with minimalsupervision you must be able to prioritise organise and managetasks as well as work well within a team. An ideal candidate wouldhave sound practical knowledge and experience of locating blockagesblock cabling carrying out splicing and testing. In addition tothis the following certs would be beneficial NRSWA qualified SA001SA002 S7 and/or S8accreditations.

Whatwill you bedoing

Asa Multi Skilled Cable Operative your core responsibilities will be

Test roddingand roping.

Fibre cablingpulling.

Fibre blockcabling internal andexternal

Splicing andtesting in joints lock boxes andPOEs.

Use of Fibreinstallation & testequipment

Work safelyaccording to National Roads and Street works Act including SigningLighting and Guarding Safe Working Practices Personal Safety andGas Testing

Ensure allactivities are carried out in line with Health and Safety standardsincluding carrying out daily checks to ensure safe touse

Selfaudit workto ensure it meets all company and clientstandards.

Always maintaina clean and tidy workenvironment.

Able to work inall weatherconditions.

Installation ofequipment and materials as per industry and Britishstandards

Managementinventory of and organisation of companyVan.

Ensure all workcarried out is of a high quality andstandard.

To follow safeworking operating and complianceprocedures

To entercorrect and detailed reports on our DEPONET mobile appsystem

To work safelyfollowing all RAMS and correct use of providedPPE

Ensuring yourtime is managed efficiently and tasks are prioritised correctly onsite.

RequirementsWhatdo youneed
Musthold a Full UK Driving License (held for at least 12 months and amaximum of 6points)
Experience incable pulling block cabling slicing andtesting.
NRSWAqualified
SA001 SA002 S7 and/orS8
Experience and knowledge oflocating blockages
12 years workexpereince in a similarrole.
Ability to handle sensitiveand confidentialinformation.
Experience working ina similar installation Engineer position (minimum 1years).

Good writtenand verbal communicationskills

What do you need? Must hold a Full UK Driving License (held for atleast 12 months and a maximum of 6 points) Experience in cablepulling, block cabling, slicing and testing.
