A 24-month placement is available within the Marketing Department.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and creative Internal Communications Coordinator to support the development and implementation of an effective internal communications strategy. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for communications and an interest in working within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving employee engagement, ensuring clear and consistent messaging, and fostering a positive company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Assist in the execution of a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.Content Creation: Develop engaging content for various internal channels, including internal notices, e-newsletters, intranet, emails, and digital screens.Campaign Management: Plan and coordinate internal communication campaigns to support company initiatives and activations.Employee Engagement: Foster a sense of community and engagement among employees by organising and promoting internal events, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to gather relevant information and ensure consistent messaging across the organisation.Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement to an existing working Internal Communications group.Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of internal communication policies and best practices.As an integral part of the team, we require the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations, English (essential), or a related field is desirable.Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools such as intranets, email marketing software, and social media platforms.Ability to use Adobe Suite to edit images and / or video content is desirable.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Previous experience or placement in internal communications or related fields is a plus.Comfortable with adapting to and driving change.Must be prepared to travel, as and when required, to Pirelli UK sites in addition to Burton (Carlisle, Didcot).A full clean driving licence is essential.
