As a Care Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of care professionals, provide guidance and support, and ensure that our clients receive exceptional care. This role will involve a combination of office-based and fieldwork responsibilities, including scheduling and managing rotas.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care services to clients
  • Provide guidance and support to care assistants to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
  • Schedule and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage and staffing levels
  • Conduct regular spot checks, competencies, and care plan reviews with care assistants and clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and high-quality care standards.
  • Participate in on-call duties to provide emergency support when needed
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Provide direct care services to clients when needed, ensuring that their needs are met, and their dignity is respected.
  • Maintain accurate records of care plans, assessments, and client interactions
  • Report any concerns or issues related to client care or staff performance to the management team

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in healthcare or social care
  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a senior carer
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislations in relation to domiciliary care (e.g. CQC)
  • Driving license valid for use in the UK and your own vehicle.
  • Experience of working on computers, using basic software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn new IT systems and processes quickly
