Overview:
N Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantexa Senior Developer to join our team in London on a 12-month contract or Fixed term employment basis. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of Quantexa technology and significant experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and compliance within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement solutions using Quantexa, Scala, Spark, and PL/SQL.
Engage in AML and Compliance project portfolios, focusing on detection and prevention mechanisms in financial markets.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand banking and financial service requirements.
Utilize agile development methodologies, including JIRA and backlog management for requirements.
Participate in various development projects, especially in areas of Financial Crime Compliance such as Client Lifecycle Management, KYC, and CDD.
Ensure adherence to best practices in development, including unit testing, documentation, and design.

Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of total experience in the field (8+ years preferred).
At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience with Quantexa (more is advantageous).
Demonstrated expertise in Scala, Spark, and PL/SQL.
Professional certification in Quantexa, Scala, and Spark.
Proven experience (1-2 years) as a Quantexa developer.
Solid understanding of the banking and financial services domain.
Familiarity with agile development practices and tools.
Strong background in general development environment skills, including code control and IDEs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in AML & Compliance within the financial sector.
Involvement in Financial Crime Compliance projects.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and development.
