Field Service Representative

The role is at a wellknown engineeringcompany who specialise in the design manufacture and supply oftactical military bridges and other related engineering services.As a Field Service Representative you will Support OnSite CustomerEquipment Failure Inspection Diagnosis Maintenance Repairs& WarrantyWork.

• Diagnosticsmaintenance and repair of military vehicles and equipment onsiteand in the field in compliance with Company technical service andstatutory regulations
• Independent deployment ata customers site with responsibility for order processing andcontractual documentation
• Deployment worldwide(potential for)
• Compliance with and monitoringof statutory regulations in particular those involving safety atwork and environmental protection
• Responsiblefor the preparation of safe & compliant work sites tools& materials
• Independent management ofa facility in collaboration with a technicalteam
• Delivery of training tasks internally andexternally with customer community
• Customercare & satisfaction
• Execution offaultfinding defect diagnosis planned & unplannedmaintenance and repair work at all relevantstages
• Accurate completion of all documentationinclusive of jobsheets and workorders
• Generation of work breakdown structurescost estimates and performancespecifications
• Training and instructing newemployees

• C&GHeavy Vehicle Repair level 3 (or equivalent)
• Military vehicle technical / maintenanceexperience (desirable)
• Test authorisation fortechnical tests specified by the statutoryauthorities
• Driving licence Class C (HGV2)minimum (desirable)
• Experience in vehicleinspection maintenance & repair ideally in the field ofmilitary equipment heavy commercial vehicles construction machineryagricultural machinery or specialist vehiclemanufacture
• Experience in completion ofrelevant technical documentation and paperwork as dictated byindustry
• Skill and experience in the operationof automotive diagnostic equipment diagnostic fault finding andtroubleshooting
• Knowledge of English languagewritten and spoken
• Basic knowledge of Germanlanguage (desirable)
• Good PC skillsparticularly with the common MS Office applicationsRecent exposureto electronic fleet management systems(desirable)
