Role Overview: As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons that ignite curiosity, promote critical thinking, and develop students' mathematical skills and understanding. Whether teaching Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, or A-level mathematics, you will play a key role in helping students achieve academic success and develop a lifelong love for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate, take risks, and explore mathematical concepts.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance learning and promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and support for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective schemes of work, resources, and assessment strategies aligned with the school's curriculum and educational goals.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, communicating effectively and working collaboratively to support student success and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Innovative and creative approach to teaching, with a commitment to delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
