Morrison Water Services are looking to recruit a Scheduler for our Yorkshire Water Contract. We are looking for people who like a new challenge and want to work as part of a great team. As the scheduler you will be responsible for making sure planned and emergency work are efficiently delivered. You will be focused on the delivering the day utilising the most effective resource to maintain and deliver high levels of service and productivity.

The scheduler role can be fast paced with a clear focus on time management, to make sure no time is lost when emergency work is received. You will be responsible for issuing the correct Permit information to Local Highway Authorities, requesting the appropriate Traffic Management for the work to be completed safely. You will be the key communicator with task teams, customers, and key stakeholders to deliver our Right First-Time approach, delivering a great customer journey for all of our customers.

The ideal candidate will be organised, a good communicator and thrives working as part of team.

As the Scheduler your responsibilities will include:

Confidently Schedule all work orders using the scheduling system to deliver the day. Schedule work to utilise resource effectively to ensure daily performance can be achieved taking into considering location and workload. Utilise all systems to ensure that accurate information is available on request. Confidently speaking to Operational resource to effectively manage the completion of the day Escalate any potential cost or risk of Skills & Knowledge Requirements Highly Customer focused Proactive approach Passionate about Planning & Scheduling Effective communication skills Ability to act calmly and rationally in a stressful environment. Flexible to support the business need’s. An enthusiastic team player Learning & Development to be embraced An awareness of Health and Safety is also essential.
