Advanced Orthopaedic Nurse

You will provide clinical support to the advanced orthopaedic team and patients. You will share responsibility for patient safety and quality of care from admission through to discharge and rehabilitation. You will work collaboratively as part of the advanced orthopaedic team with patient care assistants, interns, vets and other colleagues to meet the needs of patients.
You will assist with anaesthesia, surgery and diagnosis and provide nursing care to patients passing through the preparation and theatre areas. You will be responsible for delivering a high level of nursing care to the patients through the entire anaesthesia/surgical/diagnostic process. When necessary you will also assist with the training and integration of new staff to the team as required.

You will also receive funded CPD and RCVS registration, a workplace pension, life assurance, company sick pay and access to an employee assistance programme. You will get 30 days annual leave inclusive of public and bank holidays, increasing to 33 days inclusive of public and bank holidays after three years’ service (based on full-time working five days a week). We offer a pay banding structure based on experience post qualification.
