The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drilling Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and optimization of drilling operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement drilling plans and strategies.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and risk assessments to optimize drilling performance and minimize operational challenges.
  • Monitor drilling operations in real-time, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to drilling teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Evaluate drilling equipment and technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate drilling performance and recommendations to stakeholders.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in drilling engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of drilling principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in drilling software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
