Pastry Chef

Chef to join us at Dunkeld House Hotel in Perthshire.

The Role:

·       
All aspects of food production for pastry section
of the kitchen

·       
Product development and menu creation

·       
Training and coaching team of Chefs and Kitchen
Porters

·       
Ordering, delivery, storage, preparation, cooking
and service

·       
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food hygiene and
health and safety legislation

·       
Achieving gross profit targets on dishes

The Person:

·       
Previous experience of working in a similar role
would be preferred, but we will consider applications from exceptional Demi’s
looking for their first CDP role

·       
A broad range of skills and be competent in bread,
cakes and petite fours, afternoon tea and desserts

·       
Qualifications in professional cookery and food
hygiene are essential

·       
Positive, enthusiastic attitude

·       
An attention to detail and good communication
skills

·       
Ability to work well as a member of the team and
hotel family
