Support Worker, Awel Y Mor.  £11.60 to £12.00 dependent on experience.  38 hours per week.

**This role requires a drivers license** Situated just a few steps from the charming seaside harbor and village of Saundersfoot, Awel y Mor is a welcoming detached home designed for up to three adults aged 18 and over. This spacious residence features three large double bedrooms, inviting communal lounges, and a modern kitchen. Outside, the landscaped garden provides a tranquil sanctuary for relaxation and leisure.

Awel y Mor feels like a family home, striking a balance between learning, leisure, and life skills. It’s a place where adults are at the heart of their own progression and development.nRecognizing that every adult has unique interests, strengths, and needs, our creative and experienced team of carers work closely with each individual to ensure they feel happy and supported.

A typical day in the life of working at  Awel Y Mor may include:

Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment; Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration; Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones; Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs; Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise; General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation;

A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships; Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs; A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team; Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes; Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts; 

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
