Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for graduate Teaching Assistants and Cover supervisors to work with our partner school located in Oldham and North Manchester.
After great success this academic year, we are seeking 9 graduates to join three Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Secondary schools in the Oldham and North Manchester for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The schools are looking for recent graduates with a passion for helping others. Previous experience working with children, either in a professional or voluntary capacity would be highly desirable but not essential.
The role
Our graduate programme allows you to gain a placement within a secondary school for either the full academic year, or for a terms placement in order to trial a variety of secondary schools.
Depending on your experience, you will be employed as a Teaching Assistant to start with where you
will be assisting the class teacher with the smooth running of lessons. Throughout your placement you will then take on additional responsibilities, including teaching your own lessons to prepare you for a future career in teaching.
Full training will be provided, and this is a great opportunity for any aspiring teachers to gain on-the-job experience that is to lead to a paid years teacher training programme directly with our partner schools either in January 2025 or September 2025.
