Are you a motivated and passionate MFL teacher looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Burgess Hill for a maternity cover position starting January 2025.

About the Role

As an MFL teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in French and/or Spanish to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You'll play a vital role in helping students develop their skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while fostering a love of languages and cultural awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating MFL lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Support students in building their confidence and ability in both French and Spanish.
  • Create an inclusive and interactive classroom environment where students are motivated and excited to learn.
  • Work collaboratively with the school's MFL team to maintain high teaching standards and a consistent curriculum.
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching French and/or Spanish at secondary school level.
  • A creative, engaging teacher with a genuine passion for languages.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
