Theideal candidate can be either qualified partqualified or qualifiedby experience. This position offers a progressive and rewardingcareer with significant autonomy. The firm provides study support amodern approach to technology a friendly working environment andfurther progressionopportunities.


Responsibilitiesinclude:
  • Preparingstatutoryaccounts.
  • Assistingwith management accountsproduction.
  • Handlingpersonal tax corporate tax and VATreturns.
  • Performinggeneral bookkeeping duties using Xero orQuickbooks.
  • Coachingand mentoring junior staff members andtrainees.


Requirements
  • Youwill be studying your ACCA / ACA or be qualified or qualified byexperience.
  • Youwill have substantial experience within a UK accountancy practicepreparing accounts tax and other responsibilities for a mixedclient base of sole traders partnerships and limitedcompanies.
  • Minimumof 35 years of experience in an accountancy practiceenvironment.
  • Proficiencyin accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks Sage andExcel.
  • Excellentverbal and written communicationskills.
  • Highlevel of accuracy and attention todetail.
  • Stronganalytical and problemsolvingabilities.
  • Abilityto work collaboratively within a team and support juniorstaff.
