Your Role

As a Software Engineer (Controls - Simulation), you will also work as part of the Simulation family, with a focus on software development in our simulator to enable vehicle modelling and configuration components.

In this role, you will:

Work in the Simulation family and VMCI team to define and develop effective interfaces to vehicle models. Develop the Oxa Simulator to be capable of representative behaviour across current and potential future vehicles.  Work with data, infrastructure and fleet teams to develop systems to update, measure and refine the quality of the simulator model component.

Requirements

What you need to succeed:

A Master’s degree in a related field (Control Eng, Mech Eng, Aerospace, Robotics, Mechatronics) is desired A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Control Eng, Mech Eng, Aerospace, Robotics, Mechatronics) may be acceptable with appropriate experience Experience with C++ algorithm development and deployment Experience with Real-time simulation of vehicle systems A background in Vehicle dynamics and control

Extra kudos if you have any experience of:

Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for vehicle dynamics applications Experience working with one or more third-party simulation or physics engine ( CARLA, CarSim, CarMaker, Bullet, PhysX) Proven agility in fast-changing environments.
