What you will do:

As a fire and security engineer you'll dive into a hands-on role where every day brings exciting challenges and opportunities for growth. From installing cutting-edge fire detection systems to fine-tuning CCTV networks, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring safety and security for homes and businesses. You will work closely with an experienced team of engineers learning how to protect individuals, homes and properties from risk and danger. This involves installing and maintaining fire and security systems including fire alarms, intrusion detection, CCTV systems, and access control systems. You will be traveling daily to client premises across a variety of sites: domestic, commercial, retail, and more. This is a field-based position where regular travel is a requirement of the role, primarily working in Glasgow and west central Scotland. You will be enrolled on a . As an apprentice you will attend our training college New College Lankarshire on block release while also having the support of your mentor and our dedicated training team. On-the-job training will be provided working closely with our experienced Fire & Security engineers, many of these engineers have also been through our apprenticeship scheme so they are the perfect mentors to guide you through the apprenticeship.
