Job summary

We are a 2 partner semi-rural dispensing practice based in the beautiful North Yorkshire Dales town of Richmond, approximately an hours drive from Newcastle, Leeds and York. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our close-knit and well established multidisciplinary team.

We are looking to a appoint a Salaried GP to work 4-7 sessions per week. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified GPs.

We encourage personal development ofspecial interests outside of primary care

Start date: January 2025

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

About us

We are a small friendly team consisting of:

2 Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 2 Practice Nurses, an HCA and GP Assistant. As well as a very supportive admin and dispensary team.

Our Primary Care Network (PCN) comprises of 8 practices in the local area, offering wider services to our patients including Pharmacists and Social Prescribers. This team will continue to grow.

Job responsibilities

In general the post-holderwill be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilitiesassociated with a GP working within primary care.

Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practicepolicies/guidelines, eg prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, healthand safety.
