Candidate is required to work onsite 3 days per week (asrequired) and 2 days remote within Ontario.

Must Haves:

  • Extensive experience in the use of Angular v7 JavaScriptTypescript Node such as NPM RXJS Spring Framework (MVC Security JPABoot) Bitbucket REST API Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience in integration of commercially available APIdesign and implementation (load balancing discoveryresiliency).
  • Experience with React.
  • Extensive experience with responsive development andHTML5.
  • Extensive experience coding for mobiledevices.
  • 10 years of experience withdeveloping application in compliance with PCI and WCAG 2.0Standards and bringing applications to AODA Compliancy.
  • Experience with JAWS WAIARIA HTML 5 HiSheriff.

  • Previous PublicSector Experience is an asset.

Description

Responsibilities Design implement and continuously expanddata pipelines by performing extraction transformation and loadingactivities. Required to translate technical systems specificationsinto working tested applications. This includes developing detailedprogramming specifications writing and/or generating code compilingdatadriven programs maintaining and conducting unit tests. Resolvesand troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use andoperation of software packages including technical assistance inimplementation conversion and migrations. General Skills Experiencein programming and analysis; specialized software package supportat the specified experience level Ability to collaborate with ITProfessionals throughout the Software Development Life CycleExperience in structured methodologies for the development designimplementation and maintenance of applications Experience in designcode test debug and document applications Experience in the use ofobject and/or third generation language development toolsExperience in one or more programming languages Experience inapplication design latest design patters deployment andtroubleshooting Experience with relational and hierarchicaldatabase technologies Experience in the use of informationretrieval packages using query languages Experience with one ormore communications protocols Experience in structuredmethodologies for the design development implementation andmaintenance of applications Experience eliciting and documentinginformation from diverse business area stakeholders and subjectmatter experts Excellent analytical problemsolving anddecisionmaking skills; verbal and written communication skills;interpersonal and negotiation skills A team player with a trackrecord for meeting deadlines Full Stack Skills Proficient with bothfront end and back end development including any associated areassuch as database design/management and DevOps Knowledge andexperience with design and implementation of the overall webarchitecture Experience with implementation of approved userinterface design and deployment of database Knowledge andexperience ensuring the entire stack is designed and built forspeed and scalability Knowledge and experience with the design andconstruction of REST API services Knowledge and experienceintegrating frontend UI with the constructed API Knowledge andexperience in design and implementation of continuous integrationand deployment Desirable Skills Knowledge and experience withprogramming Internetready applications Knowledge and experience inrapid application development (RAD) methodologies Knowledge andunderstanding of Information Management principles conceptspolicies and practices Experience with middleware and gatewaysExperience reviewing analyzing and modifying product installationscripts including encoding testing debugging Ability to providepostimplementation support and resolve any postimplementationtechnical issues Experience conducting design walkthrough sessionswith project team Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility forOntarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations andstandards Ability to provide user and system documentation asrequired
