Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School in Stafford

Graduate Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Competitive pay of up to £520 per week
  • Full-time, long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant position
  • Based at a highly regarded secondary school in Stafford with public transport links
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them with both academic and personal development
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Gain valuable experience for future careers in teaching, educational psychology or related fields
  • Work alongside experienced, supportive educators in a progressive and nurturing school environment
  • No prior experience required (though beneficial) – just enthusiasm for education and a solid academic background

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of the teaching team, working closely with students in small groups or 1:1 sessions to provide academic support. You’ll also assist teachers in the delivery of lessons, helping to manage classroom activities and ensure students are fully engaged and achieving their best.
