Overview:

Pareto are currently looking foran experienced Facilities Management Estimating Manager to manageand quote FM tenders in line with our growth strategy.

As our Estimating Manager you must have a proventrack record in a similar role and have a good understanding of theFM and Maintenance industry. You will report into the SalesDirector and support them with preparing winning tenders bids andpresentations to continue winning newbusiness.

The successful Estimating Manager mustbe able to accurately labourload and price competitive tendersinvolving multiple selfdelivered and subcontracted service linestracking forecasted gross margin contributions support handover offsuccessful tenders to the operations team and contribute totechnical solutioning.

This is a new role forPareto and the perfect opportunity for an Estimating Manager who islooking to take on more responsibility and be an integral part ofour management team.

Keyresponsibilities :

  • Endto End management of the estimatingprocess
  • Earlyunderstanding of the full tender and submissionrequirements
  • Identifyingopportunities on which to submitbids
  • Compilation of adetailed cost model for review by the Pareto Sales Director
  • Supply chain managementfor obtaining quotes for new business tenders
  • Collaboration with Keymembers of the team to obtain the information required to completethe bid
  • Work with thesales team to develop a clear strategy for eachbid
  • Research current andfuture applicable market trends relating to Facilities Managementpricing
  • Setting out inputrequirements and agreeing realistic deadlines in line with bidtimescales
  • Ensuring allrelevant parties are engaged with and kept up to date throughoutthe process
  • Drivecontinuous improvement through internal and customer reviews

Experience knowledgeandqualifications:

  • Relevantengineering qualification (HNC or equivalent)
  • Strong FacilitiesIndustryKnowledge
  • Submittingcompleted pricing models to an existing or prospective client ontime and withinbudget
  • Proven track recordin FM tendering
  • Ability tocommunicate effectively with colleagues particularly engineeringand Account management
  • Theability to work to tight deadlines and reprioritise workload inline with changingdemands
  • The ability tomaintain a flexible attitude to work task and workload to ensuretender deadlines areachieved
  • Competency in MSOffice software notably Excel

  • Strong commercialawareness
