We are seeking a supportive English Teacherto join a flourishing Secondary School based in Southwark Londonstarting January. The successful candidate will be passionate abouteducation and have a proven track record of delivering excellentteaching in a English setting. Aside from that the successfulEnglish Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team toensure all students receive a positive and engaging learningexperience.

English TeacherResponsibilities:

Plan anddeliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspireEnglish students to reach their full potential

Monitor and assess students progress and keep regular records ofEnglish students academic performance

Create apositive learning environment that is both safe and conducive forlearning

Collaborate with school managementteaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support forEnglish students

Prepare and participate inschoolrelated activities such as performances events andparent/teacher meetings

Adhere to safeguardingpolicies and promote the welfare of all students

Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies toensure an orderly and safe learningenvironment

English TeacherRequirements:

English teacherexperience

QTS or equivalent

A recognised qualification in teaching preferably a Bachelorsdegree in Education or any relevant field

Provenexperience in teaching English in a mainstream secondaryschool

Excellent classroom management skillswith the ability to engage and motivate learners

Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicateeffectively with parents staff and students

Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application inclass

Ability to adapt teaching styles tofacilitate different learning styles

A passionfor teaching and making a difference in studentslives.
