Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for the delivery of electrical maintenance, installation, inspection, testing, and servicing across a wide range of sectors, primarily within social housing. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all works are completed to the required customer standards, while prioritizing safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, installation, inspection, testing, and servicing tasks across various sectors, with a primary focus on social housing.
- Diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Uphold safety guidelines and protocols at all times, minimizing risks to personnel and property.
- Adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of inspections, tests, and repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- 2391/AM2/ 18th Edition & relevant NVQ Level 3
- Proven experience as an Electrician, with a strong background in electrical maintenance, installation, inspection, testing, and servicing.
- Valid electrical license or certification.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
